Supporting UCP of the North Bay Therapeutic Recreation Services
On Saturday, October 29, seven people had a Ride of Your Life experience at Infineon Raceway – while supporting UCP of the North Bay! These 7 lucky participants experienced real life racing thrills riding shotgun around the legendary Infineon Raceway.
John Clark, Silver Corporate Sponsor from Empirical Maintenance Solutions, was back for his second Ride of Your Life experience, having participated back in 2009. He brought with him, his friend Corey Barlow, a first-time rider.
Mariah Shields, of Jordan Shields Insurance, also a Silver Corporate Sponsor, participated for the first time.
Jeremy Schaefer, Cypress Benefit Raffle winner recipient, as well as Gavin Cook and John German, Silent Auction winners from the UCP of the North Bay Sunset Reception are all rode for the first time.
Kou Vang, UCPNB's WineBev Services Production Specialist, won the Ride of Your Life drawing. He wasn't able to participate but has his son, Steve ride in his place. Thank you to Steve and Neda Lohrer for donating this ride to a UCP of the North Bay staff member.
The event raised over $33,000, with proceeds going towards UCP of the North Bay therapeutic recreation programs for children and adults with disabilities including Boost Camp, Camp Kaos, Sidekicks Bike/Swim Camp and Cypress Summer Program.
Thank you to HSCRS for their support! We couldn't do it without you!
