Mission Statement:
This program allows children the opportunity to function as independently as possible by giving them full access to Assistive Technology Augmentative Communication and independence through mobility. It will promote fuller participation in school and allow students to achieve higher academic goals. This program empowers children to find their own solutions to daily living in a functional academic social communication rich environment.
This program is based on the principles of MOVE International, Mobility Opportunities Via Education.
The program will include children with one of the following conditions:
Currently, Kids Connect is sponsored by United Cerebral Palsy of the North Bay, until we receive our own federal exemption and non-profit status.
