“CamelBak is the originator and world leader in hands-free hydration systems. The first CamelBak products proved to be very popular among mountain bikers and motocross riders.”
And now, thanks to the generosity of our neighboring company, CamelBak water bottles are very popular with our students at Cypress School. Dave Carr, CamelBak Product Manager, spotted our students on their daily walk to Schollenberger Park, which is part of our “Healthy Body Curriculum.” He noticed that our students did not have water bottles and gave new water bottles to all our students, teachers, and aides.
Cypress School Teacher, Cindy Evans, says, “My students love their personal water bottles – we take them on all our walks and outdoor activities.”
After this initial contact, Cindy Evans contacted CamelBak to see if there might be opportunities for a work experience to enhance the student's vocational explorations. With our school staff, our students are now learning janitorial and assembly tasks at CamelBak twice weekly.
Thank you CamelBak for being a true partner!
